As entry level handsets go, Sony Ericsson has always seen the consumer right, and they continue to do so with the Sony Ericsson W205, a basic Walkman phone that undoubtedly ticks all the boxes for first-timers.
The music-focussed device still offers a 1,3 megapixel camera, FM radio, Bluetooth connectivity, and resurrects the twitching corpse of the M2 Memory Card format to save your tunes to.
In terms of form factor, it happily resides amongst the mobile peers in the price range and above, whilst the price will be sure to put a smile on many a parent’s face as the W205 is touted as being “the most affordable Walkman”.
Release dates and prices to follow, but we would hazard a guess at ’soon’ and ‘cheap’.
