Sony Ericsson have revealed a new handset for the fashionable lady about town, the “Jalou”.

The Sony Ericsson Jalou sports a compact clamshell form factor, and has a sleek angular design with feminine features including a screen that doubles as a make-up mirror and WalkMate, a pedometer to keep an eye on how many calories you’re burning.

In terms of ‘proper specs’, the handset is a quad-band device with a 3.15 megapixel camera, an FM radio, ActiveSyne Exchange support and web browser.

Those looking for a little more exclusivity can pick up the special edition Jalou, designed in collaboration with Dolce & Gabbana. This premium model adds a designer bag, 24 carat gold accenting, a deluxe headset and custom D&G content…for a price. Unfortunately, we don’t know what that price is yet.

All this sexy fashion phone goodness will be out in Q4 2009, with a release expected in September/October.
