If you like your Windows Mobile phones, you won’t have long to wait before the new ones from Samsung become available!
With the Omnia name becoming exclusively for use with their Windows-driven devices (poor old i8910 Omnia HD), lucky Belgians will be able to get their hands on the new Samsung Omnia II in August at a SIM-free price of €549.
The QWERTY-packing Samsung Omnia Pro will be out there even sooner, with a price-tag of €499 and a July release date.
Early adopters get them well, early, but waiting a while will result in getting an Omnia with Windows Mobile 6.5 pre-installed…decisions! Obviously, non-Belgians may have to wait a while, but these dates and prices are a good indicator of what Europeans will be in for as we move into Q3.
